Well, it's been a very busy week but the best is yet to come! I have enjoyed doing the radio and television interviews but talking face-to-face with my friends and new acquaintances is even better! I am planning to do just that tomorrow (Sunday, June 19) beginning at 2:00 PM at The Arena Hub Barnes & Noble store in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Plan to stop by, grab your favorite drink in the Starbucks cafe and then visit with me. I am very grateful for your support and friendship!
In addition to visiting with my friends I will be signing copies of my book about my personal journey and travails through a horribly corrupt Luzerne County judicial system. A true story backed up by illustrations of newspaper articles, the book exposes in detail a corrupt courtroom and judicial system during a time prior to the horrors of the kids for cash scandal. The book entitled "The Luzerne County Railroad" has received national acclaim from notable politicians, retired judges, authors and many others. The book is currently in its third printing.
My appearance at the Barnes & Noble store marks the culmination of the 4 day Barnes & Noble Author Event which has involved radio interviews on "The Sue Henry Show" on WILK 103.1 FM, WVIA radio (PBS), "The David Madeira Show" on 94.3 FM ("The Talker") and a television appearance on WBRE TV channel 28.
Once again, I am sincerely grateful for your enthusiasm and the support you have offered to me! I am looking forward to visiting with you at the Barnes & Noble at The Arena Hub!

Please consider attending my event for two very good reasons. Number one is that my book signing is a major part of a fund raiser for WVIA (PBS) TV and Radio based in North East Penna. The second reason is that I am the “Featured Author” for this 8 day fund raiser and it sure would be nice to show community support for these PBS stations. Even if you don’t buy my book a percentage of all Barnes & Noble sales proceeds will go directly to WVIA. Secondly, it sure would be nice to meet as many people as possible who have been following me as an author and my book as a serious source of exposure to the Corrupt Judicial System that we all know as the Luzerne County Judiciary.
I am honored that Barnes & Noble has selected me and my book to participate at such a high level. It truly is a wonderful form of validation for the hard work and sacrifices that it took to write my book and to relive those dark days. Please tell your friends, family, and co-workers about this very worthwhile event.
Remember: Being “RAILROADED” in Luzerne County has nothing to do with trains.

I honestly believe that if Ciavarella doesn't have certain demands met, he has threatened to spill the beans on the whole corrupt system all the way to Harrisburg. The damage control started when the US Attorney's Office didn't present ANY evidence to support the actual "Kids for Cash" charges that were included in Ciavarella's Indictment. "Not guilty" on 27 of the 39 charges is not a victory for the prosecution by anyone’s standards. Before Ciavarella’s trial began I publicly predicted that the Federal Government would have to do some sort of damage control during the trial. If they didn’t, a “Huge Can of Worms” would be opened and the ramifications could go all the way to the top. I had no idea just how extensive the damage control would be. Even I am shocked. I don’t care what US Attorney Peter Smith says. None of this is adding up.

Just remember that Ciavarella has stated all along that the "Kids for Cash" scandal is a myth. The way this case was prosecuted offers him "Proof" he may be right. Not a single sentence, exhibit, or witness was presented during his trial to support any of the "Kids for Cash" charges thus he was found not guilty on 27 of 39 charges. Something just doesn't add up. Speaking of not adding up, when is Conahan going to be sentenced? His whole plea deal was predicated on him testifying against Ciavarella. Since that didn’t happen, what is the hold up???

I am here to tell you that it is one of life’s greatest moments when someone totally unknown to you reads a book you have written about your life and then writes a review of this magnitude. I wish my book was about a subject that was more pleasant and inspiring. A book about succeeding in business and in life in general seems like it would be a better fit for me and who I am. That was not meant to be.
Little did I know when I was going through my very lonely, gut wrenching experience with Judicial Corruption that someday I would be used as a conduit to expose this very seedy side of our great nation. It is my hope of hopes that my experience and my willingness to expose this great American tragedy will motivate enough people to aggressively attack this problem, if not for ourselves then for our children and grandchildren.
Thank you Mr. John Plucenik for your “once in a lifetime” review of my life and my work. I am truly humbled.

I believe that every single person that is offered a plea deal in the Luzerne County corruption probe should spend time in prison. If they chirp loudly and help expose other corruption I don't have a problem with a reduced sentence. Single count plea deals for criminals that have exploited legitimate taxpayers dozens or hundreds of times for thousands or even millions of dollars just doesn’t cut it. Hard working taxpayers are becoming as outraged by the leniency afforded these criminals as they are by the criminal acts themselves.
US Attorney Peter Smith: please STOP this practice and exert your authority as a representative of the PEOPLE. You alone carry this authority through the power of your office and you alone can fix this ever so real imbalance of justice.
